Simon has had a keen enthusiasm for fitness most of his adolescent and adult life. Having trained in rugby and karate during his time at school, he later at 17 years old, joined the military. Demanding physical fitness and elite military fitness testing, became a way of life for him during his years of service. After leaving the military, he then went on to become a bodyguard, working and instructing in numerous hostile environments around the world.
It was while training overseas, in harsh conditions with little or no equipment, that Simon developed exercise routines, he could follow to keep in shape. It was during this time that he found his real passion for fitness.
With over 10 years in the industry Simon has gained an extensive knowledge base of exercise and nutrition. This helps him to deliver varied, yet fun programs to his clients, in order to achieve and maintain their desired results. As a trainer, he values the importance of correct education in personal development training and as such, his ethos revolves around keeping up to date with the latest nutrition information and technology.
“Along the way, I have fell off the beaten path and put on over two stone of bad weight. I still felt fit, but it was not until I seen a picture of myself that I realized, that it was time for me to adjust my lifestyle! This was probably the best thing that could have happened, as it led me to educate myself in nutrition and different forms of exercise. In my desire to make a change, I found my passion and a job that I love! Now I can help others achieve their goals as well”.
As a busy father of two, I understand the difficulty of fitting training into everyday life, but over time I have managed to find techniques and knowledge to combat this problem. Whether your aim is to change your body shape, gain strength or improve your fitness, I will work closely with you to reach your goal. I am clear from the beginning, the reason you are here is to put in work and to follow the plan, so you can achieve the results you want! My goal is not just to get you in shape but to educate you in the correct training techniques and to guide you nutritionally.
